Support for the Preparation of the Program to Strengthen the Housing Emergency Plan and Containment of the Urban Deficit
This technical cooperation aims to support the Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo (MINVU) of Chile in the preparatory activities of the loan Support for the Housing Emergency Plan and Containment of the Urban Deficit (CH-L1173), which seeks to contribute to the reduction of the housing deficit that Chile through the : (i) development of comprehensive strategies for the regeneration of neighborhoods and deteriorating property; (ii) promotion of the production of industrialized housing with low-carbon urban and social infrastructure and non-traditional construction systems through planning and implementation of institutional frameworks; and (iii) strengthening of design, planning and execution capacities, improvement of tools and innovation in the ministry's technological systems in housing and land management programs.
