Support to labor policy and competency-based training system in Chile

The overall objective of this TC is to support the Government of Chile in strengthening the labor and skills-based training policy in Chile, both by supporting the objectives of CH-L1125 and those of TC CH-T1179, operations that serve as tools to improve the productivity of workers. The specific objectives are: (i) to continue supporting Chile in the activities of the TC CH-T1179 to strengthen the existing Skills Training System, taking into account the demand and challenges that the country will face in the future to meet the demand for productive sector skills, including institutional, regulatory and political aspects, while increasing the productivity of the workforce; and (ii) to conduct studies necessary to comply with the policy conditions in the Program for Strengthening the Labor Intermediation System in Chile (CH-L1135).
