CH-Q0001 : Equity Investment in the AgroDesarrollo Fund

The general objective of the project is to support the establishment of a VC industry in Chile as well as local fund management capacity in a sector that is relevant for the country¿s economy, by showcasing the impact that VC has on the growth and competitiveness of SMEs. The specific objective of this project is to transform initiatives of entrepreneurs from the agriculture sectors into profitable businesses, generating sustainable employment and economic development, by providing equity, quasi-equity and debt financing, as well as value added governance to 9 to 14 small agribusinesses.
