Strengthening of Pension System Management and Information
1. Foster that the Chilean pension system's present institutional setting and managerial processes progressively adequate to the guidelines of the pension reform promoted by the government. 2. Design and develop information systems and data bases capable to provide and process the information needed to provide the pension benefits promoted by the reform, as well as to obtain and adequate response service to the questions of the pension system's users. 3. Promote among political and social actors and public opinion leaders an adequate understanding and debate of the reform's guidelines and expected benefits 4. Disseminate among the population the expected benefits of the pension reform -especially on terms of social and gender equity and protection against poverty for senior citizens- and the progress obtained in its implementation.
