Sao Paulo Urban Train System

THE OJECTIVES ARE TO EXPAND THE SUPPLY OF THE URBAN TRANSPORT SERVICES AND TO IMPROVE THEIR EFFICIENCY IN THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST AREAS OF THE MRSP. IN THESE AREAS, LOW INCOME COMMUNITIES ARE CONCETRATED. THE PROJECT EXCECUTION INCLUDES: (1) CONSTRUCTION OF 9KM RAILWAY LINE, MOSTLY ELEVATED WITH SIX STATIONS AND SUPPORT EDIFICATIONS, AS WELL AS ACQUISITION OF TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT;(2) CONSTRUCTION OF NEW STATIONS FOR THE SOUTH LINE OF CPTM TRAIN SYSTEM;AND (3)CPTM STRENGTHENING
