BR-X1024 : Paving the Way for the World Cup and the Olympic Games: Sport Alliance for Development

The goal of this project is to promote social inclusion of children, youth and their families. The project¿s purpose focuses on developing a partnership model, which articulates key actors, aimed at developing a pilot project to strengthen the VO Carlos Castilho, which will subsequently be implemented and evaluated in VO Clara Nunes. This will be done through three components. Component I will promote active participation of girls in sports. Component II will take advantage of the strategic location and outreach of the VO to use it as a platform for promoting financial literacy and inclusion in the community. Component III will strengthen management and monitoring systems. A rigorous evaluation of the program impact will be conducted.
