Technical support for promoting sustainable transport in Brazil

The general objective of this TC is to provide technical support in the preparation and execution of transportation sector operations in Brazil, assisting both the Federal Government and subnational entities to develop opportunities for improvements in the transportation systems, focusing on selectivity to generate tangible impact, facilitating the green transition and strengthening climate resilience to advance a new social agenda to promote prosperity and inclusion, as well as the incorporation of innovative solutions that support the transformation of the sector in the country. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) support the formulation, design and execution of loan operations; and (ii) support institutional strengthening and provide technical assistance to improve the sustainability of transport, mobility and logistics infrastructure and services.
