The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to contribute to improving the efficiency of the Unified Health System (SUS) and the quality of care by producing qualified data and information and strengthening the technical and operational capacity of subnational governments in Brazil. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to produce quality health data and information for decision-making and to strengthen the performance of the Health, Nutrition, and Population Division (HNP) in Brazil, and (ii) to improve the efficiency of the health services network in the state of Piauí through diagnostic studies and investment proposals.
