This Technical Cooperation aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Brazilian Federal Government to implement climate and environmental policies by enhancing economic and financial instruments and improving monitoring systems for public investment and climate policy implementation. The TC will support the integration of mitigation and adaptation targets into public planning, budgeting, and investment frameworks and strengthen interoperable systems to track policy effectiveness across national and subnational levels, in alignment with the Climate Plan (PlanoClima), the Brazil 2050 Strategy (EB2050), and the Ecological Transformation Plan (PTE).
