Strengthening the Federal Government’s institutional planning capacity to implement climate, environmental, and infrastructure policies

This technical cooperation aims to strengthen the Federal Government's institutional planning capacity to implement climate, environmental, and infrastructure policies by enhancing the environmental impact assessment of Multiannual Planning Process (PPA) attributes and establishing guiding criteria for the prioritization of infrastructure investments, considering an environmental and climate-focused approach. The TC will support the integration of mitigation and adaptation targets into public planning, budgeting, and public investment frameworks, as well as strengthen interoperable systems to track policy effectiveness at the national level, in alignment with the Plano Clima.
