Knowledge Exchange between Brazil and Chile on public policies aimed at combating poverty

The CT aims to promote institutional cooperation between the Secretariat for Social Development of the State of São Paulo (SEDS) and the Government of Chile, with the aim of fostering the exchange of experiences and knowledge on public policy instruments and methodologies aimed at combating poverty. It is understood that poverty is not limited to insufficient income, but also to the lack of access to essential goods and services, such as health, education, housing, food security, among others. SEDS recognizes the importance of collaboration between public agencies as a catalyst for significant advances in the dissemination of good practices. In this sense, the Secretariat is particularly interested in learning about the Puente-Chile Solidario Program, developed by the Chilean Government, with the aim of enriching its own initiatives and aligning itself with international best practices.
