To strengthen community-based sociobioeconomy enterprises in territories of Indigenous Peoples and Traditional Communities in the Amazon — RESEX Chico Mendes (Acre), Middle Solimões and Lower Juruá (Amazonas), and Marajó (Pará) — through the structuring of business plans, the mobilization of financial instruments, communication strategies, and articulation with markets and public policies, expanding access to credit, investments, and commercialization opportunities, in order to promote income generation, forest conservation, and resilience to climate change.The specific objectives of the project are to:(i) strengthen community organizations and sociobiodiversity businesses in traditional collective-use territories by developing their organizational, administrative, and management capacities, promoting the design and implementation of territorial strategic plans that enhance the economic sustainability of enterprises and access to new market opportunities;(ii) activate the financing ecosystem of sociobiodiversity value chains, strengthening the capacities of community and associative actors to mobilize resources, structure investment projects, attract capital, and establish strategic partnerships that expand access to financial mechanisms and medium- and long-term investments; and(iii) promote the generation, management, and strategic use of knowledge on the sociobioeconomy in traditional collective-use territories, increasing the visibility of sociobiodiversity value chains and strengthening communication channels and engagement with markets, investors, public institutions, and society.
