Support to strengthening policies to promote gender equality and inclusion of diverse populations in Brazil
The main objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the preparation of a Policy-Based Loan aimed at strengthening public policies that promote gender and racial equality in Brazil. This effort takes place within a context of structural inequalities that disproportionately affect women, the Black and quilombola populations, as well as Afro-descendant communities, terreiros, and the Roma community. The specific objectives of the TC are:
(i) to strengthen regulatory frameworks, reforms, and public policies that promote gender and racial equality; and
(ii) to enhance the institutional capacities of federal ministries that work, either directly or transversally, on policies targeting these population groups.
