Support for the Implementation of the Tax Reform

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to provide support to the Brazilian government in the implementation of the new consumption taxation model, which is based on a dual VAT system. Specifically, this TC aims to facilitate the design of the Tax on Goods and Services (IBS, by its acronym in Portuguese) model, which will serve as the cornerstone for the new VAT collection framework at the state and municipal levels.
