State Government of Pará: Structuring the Payment for Environmental Services Program under the Amazônia Agora Plan (ParáPSA1)
The Objective of the TC is to structure a Payment for Environmental Services (PES) Program in the state of Pará to meet the goals of the Amazônia Agora Plan of socioeconomic development through neutralization of greenhouse gas emissions from land use and deforestation. The project will develop the methodological framework for implementation of a PES Program based on valuation of its natural capital, including ecossystem, climatic, and regulatory services.
