Support to PROSEG-Federativo's Subnational Governments
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the institutional capacities of subnational governments to design and implement citizen security projects in the context of the Federative Program for Intelligent Public Safety (PROSEG-FEDERATIVO / BR-L1547), in addition to supporting the development of tools for the design and/or implementation of the loan.
The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) strengthen the institutional capacity of the States and Municipalities participating in PROSEG, in managing security and preventing violence; (ii) identify synergies and promote networking among these subnational entities; (iii) generate economies of scale and ensure a higher quality of program investments; (iv) reinforce the alignment of financed projects with the objectives of SUSP's federal policy; and (v) orient the client toward greater and better use of the positive menu of structured and evidence-based solutions that are eligible for funding.
