Support for Public Expenditure Monitoring to Fight Corruption
The general objective of the program is to increase transparency in the use of public resources in Brazil. The specific objectives are: (i) improve government management related to prevention, detection and combating of corruption through support to the development and expansion of the Public Expenditure Observatory; (ii) strengthen social control through the improvement of access to information on the part of society; and (iii) put into practice modern information management tools in sub-national governments and/or sectors.
