Support to Non-motorized Transport State Program
The specific objectives are to provide the conditions so the modal shift from motorized to non-motorized systems takes place by improving the NMT infrastructure, and improving road and overall safety conditions. Specifically the TC aims to: (i) improve the State's public transport system efficiency; (ii) increase the usage of NMT as an alternative to motorized transport and its use as a transit feeder; (iii) improve the safety for NMT circulation; and (iv) improve the integration between urban transit and NMT, by improving the quality and accessibility of integration facilities at stations and terminals.
