Support for the Cooperative Credit System in Tocantins
Strengthen and expand the supply of credit for micro and small businesses in the State of Tocantins, where no more than 30% of the municipalities have access to financial services. Technical assistance and training will be provided to two existing cooperatives which will result in their integration to the SICREDI system and the foundation will be set for the implementation of a third cooperative in the State. As a result, the number of clients accessing credit will grow, the administration of the loan portfolio will be improved and the impact will be an increase in productivity of the micro and small businesses in the areas served by the project.
