Strengthening Program of the SUS in the State of Piaui - PROSUS Piaui
The overall development objective of the operation is to contribute to improving the health conditions of the population of Piauí by strengthening the public health services network, ensuring greater access, quality, and effectiveness. Its specific objectives are: (i) to expand the range of services in the outpatient and hospital-based specialized care network for medium and high complexity cases; (ii) to provide specialized and regionalized care to vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on mental health, the elderly, and individuals with autism spectrum disorder; and (iii) to modernize health management through digital transformation, training for professionals and managers, and the implementation of care pathways and clinical protocols.
