Aegea Corporate Loan
The main objectives of the Investment Program include network improvements, expansion of water and sanitation services, and improved performance of the system. Proceeds from the IDB Loan will be used in capital expenditures in the existing concessions, which will amount to approximately US$276 million and will be allocated in the concessions of Guariroba, Prolagos, Aguas do Mirante, Barra do Garcas and Nascentes do Xingu. The Borrower¿s investments to be supported by the Bank will primarily contribute to the automation of the systems, reduction of water losses, and the increase of sewerage treatment. Bank proceeds are also expected to be used in energy efficiency investments.
