BR-L1231 : Improve Road Access to Small Municipalities in Minas Gerais-Phase II

The Program's general objective is to improve mobility, safety and accessibility for the dwelers of small municipalities that are not connected either to the federal or the state highway network, prioritizing those with low Human Development Index (IDH). The specific objectives of the Program are: i) to reduce transportation costs for passengers and freight; ii) to improve travel times and coverage of the road system; iii) to reduce social exclusion through permanent and sustainable accessibility to social services and income generating activities; and iv) to increase in the mid-term the Human Development Index of the population living in the municipalities to be benefited by the Program.
