Amazonia Comunitaria: Democratizing access to financial resources and strengthening sustainable livelihoods and territorial governance.

This project will support the crucial role of local and traditional communities in combating deforestation through a small grants program based on calls for proposals. The project will support territorial governance and sustainable economic activities carried out by Indigenous peoples, Afro-descendants and traditional communities (IPADTCs) organizations which are essential for the conservation of Amazonia's ecosystems. Additionally, it will strengthen their autonomy and empowerment, fostering more equitable and just resource management.
