THE GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE STATISTICAL INFORMATION ON SOCIAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC ASPECTS OF THE COUNTRY'S POPULATION, WHICH WILL SERVE AS A BASIS FOR MEASURING THE ACHIEVEMENTS ATTAINED IN THE LAST 14 YEARS THROUGH THE COUNTRY'S ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL POLICIES AND ITS STRUCTURAL REFORMS, AS WELL AS FOR SUPPORTING NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS TO CURRENT POLICIES.
