This Technical Cooperation (TC) will strengthen the capacity of the implementing units of Programs BO-L1233 and BO-L1212 for the implementation and execution of public space, urban mobility, and heritage infrastructure projects with a focus on gender, accessibility, and resilience. The following activities are being carried out through these programs: (i) construction of linear parks that will provide greater access to quality public spaces for recreation and social integration within their respective natural corridors; (ii) promotion of active mobility for residents, along with a network of services and initiatives of public interest; (iii) support for improving energy efficiency by replacing lighting with LED technology; (iv) improvements to solid waste collection and disposal systems and the decontamination of natural rivers, incorporating climate change adaptation and mitigation measures; and (v) actions related to Gender, Inclusion, and Indigenous Peoples.
