Policy Analysis for Enhancing Labor Productivity

The overall objective is to analyze policy options to promote the creation of formal employment opportunities. The specific objectives are to: (i) analyze policy proposals that foster an enabling environment for business growth and the generation of formal employment opportunities; and (ii) propose policy alternatives and/or programs that promote the acquisition and upgrading of workers' skills to enable access to formal employment opportunities.The analyses and the design of policies/programs should consider options to promote access to higher-quality jobs for specific groups such as women, youth, persons with disabilities (PwD), members of the LGBTQ+ community, and Indigenous people.
