Support for strengthening governance and planning of water resources in the Misicuni basin
The general objective of the technical cooperation (TC) is to contribute to strengthening water governance in the Misicuni basin through the implementation of effective management strategies. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the Misicuni Company (MS) in the strategic planning of the basin under an integrated water resources management and climate change approach; (ii) to strengthen the capacities of sectoral entities and operators, and to identify intervention strategies under a sustainability approach; and (iii) to develop studies and plans that contribute to the efficient operation strategy of the Misicuni multiple system (SMM).
