Support for the modernization of the national agricultural information system and the preparation of the national agricultural census
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of Bolivia (GoB) through the Ministry of Rural Development and Land Use (MDRyT) in the preparation and implementation of the National Agricultural Census (CAN, by its Spanish acronym) and the design of the new agricultural information system for Bolivia. The specific objectives of this TC are: i) support MDRyT in the design and preparation of the Census Plan; ii) support MDRyT and the National Statistical Institute (INE, by its Spanish acronym) in the preparation of the cartography needed for the CAN; iii) design the principal tools for data collection; and iv) strengthen MDRyT and INE skills for the implementation of the CAN.
