BO-T1377 : Sustainable and Innovative Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (SIRWASH) in Bolivia
Project Status: Implementation
The main aid of the CT is to contribute to closing the gaps in coverage and quality of rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services that are socially acceptable, affordable and sustainable, through building the necessary capacities and creating enabling environments for changes to last over time. The intervention will use a three-pronged approach of 1) policy influence, 2) innovation and 3) knowledge management. The SIRWASH geographic intervention is planned for rural populations in Bolivia that suffer from poor access to WASH services, under the perspective of "leaving no one behind".
