BO-T1277 : Drainage Master Plans in the Cities of Riberalta and Trinidad in Bolivia

The objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to develop the Drainage Master Plans for Riberalta and Trinidad. and support the development and strengthening of measures and institutions that are responsible for the sustainable management of stormwater drainage services. Specifically, the program will finance "structural" and "non-structural" measures to reduce vulnerability to meteorological events, considering the effects of climate change, that will ensure proper implementation and the sustainability of interventions in the long run. These Master Plans will guide the development and expansion of the drainage coverage area and of the infrastructure for the sustainable management of rainwater in these two municipalities. In addition, it will be the basis for the definition of policies, strategies and regulations required for ordering and control, as well as for the formulation of the actions necessary for the development of institutions that are responsible for the operation and maintenance of these infrastructures.
