BO-T1159 : Preschool and the Consolidation of Quality Services for Young Children

The objective of this operation is to support the Government of Bolivia in consolidating a seamless network of quality services for children aged 0-6 years. More specifically, this operation will provide technical assistance to improve the public sector¿s capacity to deliver integral early childhood services and transform preschool education in line with the new education law (Avelino Siñani-Elizardo Pérez, December 2010). In supporting the consolidation of this network, this TC seeks to position the Bank as the leading agency in Bolivia for supporting services targeted to children aged 0-6 years, and to work with the Government to start the preparation of a loan to support preschool.
