Study of the Grape, Wine and Agro Industrial Chain in Tarija

Identify and analyze the possibility to develop a cluster in Tarija, Bolivia involving the grape, wine, honey, ham or other agro industrial sectors, (initially the beneficiary agency has identifies the grape and wine sectors because of their greatest potential because of the social and economic impact of the sector in the local economy, in order to prepare the preliminary design of a MIF project for supply chain and network development to improve their competitiveness. Selected clusters should show growth potential, strong possibilities of interaction among relevant support institutions and firms, lessons learned from Italy and should have appropriate institutional framework for implementation of a MIF project.
