The primary objective of the project is to increase the income generating opportunities for and productivity of small farmers in the region of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, through financing and technical training for the cultivation of sesame and/or expansion of sesame farms. The project, which will have a significant social impact on low-income farming communities, consists of implementation of LATCO¿s expansion plan, which will enable it to incorporate more small farmers into its supply chain and consolidate the company¿s qualitative leap toward value-added products.
