Strengthening State Effectiveness and the National Digital Agenda in Belize

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of Belize in strengthening State Effectiveness by supporting the modernization of public management systems and advancing the implementation of the National Digital Agenda, through targeted actions that enhance core public management systems and provide technical, regulatory, and operational foundations for digital transformation. The specific objectives are: (i) to support efforts to strengthen cross-cutting public management system and the design of an aligned governance framework for national planning, budgeting, civil service, and public investment processes, including institutional roles and responsibilities, coordination arrangements, accountability mechanisms, and decision-making structures; and (ii) to support the implementation of the National Digital Agenda 2025–2030 and its digital government initiatives through development of assessments and analytical studies to inform the prioritization, sequencing, and implementation of digital government initiatives.
