Support to the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labor and Local Government for the Promotion of Green and Blue Jobs and to improve labor force participation and employability in Belize
The objective of this TC is to increase the supply of skilled labor in Belize, especially among women, youth, and migrants. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) improving services that promote access to the labor force of the general population while providing specialized support to women, youth, and migrants; and (ii) increasing skills supply through relevant and quality-focused training in priority sectors. While designed as a standalone operation capable of achieving these objectives independently, the TC will directly support the implementation of 6010/OC- by strengthening and expanding activities related to improving labor market services and increasing the supply of relevant skills. This will reinforce the loan's interventions and enhance its effectiveness.
