The objective of this technical cooperation is to facilitate knowledge exchange between the Belize's Social Investment Fund (BSIF) and the Department of Environment (DOE), and Colombia's Autonomous Regional Corporation for Cundinamarca and the Autonomous Regional Corporation fo the Atlantic. Specifically, this TC will support BSIF and DOE to learn about different bioremediation projects and technologies deployed both departments, obtain firsthand knowledge on how these technologies have contributed to reduced pollution in different types of water bodies and learn about the pros and cons of these technologies and systematize lessons learned from the Environmental Agency.
