BL-T1056 : Improving Analytical Capacity for Crime and Violence Statistics in Belize

The objective of this TC is to improve the quality, analysis, application, and dissemination of information related to crime and violence in Belize, as well as to support the implementation of the IDB CAPS loan operation, through the design and implementation of an observatory for crime and violence and through data analysis and application training for public officials and other stakeholders. A secondary objective is to integrate Belize and its information systems into the Regional System of Indicators on Coexistence and Citizen Security (SES in Spanish / RIC in English ¿ www.seguridadyregion.com) and into the Observatory on Crime and Violence managed by the Central America Integration System (SICA), known as OBSICA.
