BL-M1007 : CLOSING THE GAP BETWEEN MAYAN FARMERS AND THE GLOBAL ORGANIC COCOA MARKET

The project¿s objective is to expand the production and export of high-value organic cocoa by small holder farmers in Belize into global markets. The project will provide expert training and technical assistance to members of the Toledo Cocoa Growers Association (TCGA) in organic pest control, orchard rehabilitation, and post-harvest techniques. Similarly, it will provide support on governance, marketing and management education to the TCGA executive management.
