Macroeconomic and Public Financial Sector Reform Program
The objective of this operation is restore Belize's macroeconomic and financial stability and to improve investor climate confidence. With this operation we intend to support Belize in: 1) design and implement an strategy and action plan for an orderly liquidation of the Development Finance Corporation; 2) improving the current tax system and rationalization of public expenditure in order to reduce the fiscal deficit; and 3) improving the profile of public debt.
