Development of a Master Plan for Waste Water and Solid Waste for The Bahamas

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation is to support the Government of The Bahamas (GoB) in strengthening the water and solid waste management sectors through the development of comprehensive water master plan and a solid waste management strategy. The specific objectives are to provide a strategic framework that includes Sector diagnostics to assess current infrastructure, services, and institutional capacity. To identify investment gaps and priority areas for improvement, feasibility analysis of proposed interventions and implementation strategies and development of an investment schedule to guide short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
