Health Services Resilience Program

The general objective is to contribute to reducing the burden of chronic non communicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health conditions in Barbados. The specific objectives are:(i) to increase the adoption of healthy behaviors and mental well-being in individuals and communities;(ii) to reorient health care services closer to communities toward prevention, early detection, and continuum of care with a focus on reducing age and disability barriers to women's and men's health;(iii) to align policy and institutional frameworks to support healthy behaviors and mental well-being; and (iv) to sustain public trust and streamlined health information.
