The objective of this technical cooperation is to support the preparation and execution of the BA-L1070 project, which aims to increase effectiveness and efficiency of labor and social security in Barbados. The specific objectives are to: (i) improve compliance and enforcement of labor regulations and social security contributions among dependent workers; (ii) expand social security coverage among self-employed; and (iii) strengthen labor and social security administration capacity.
