BA-L1027 : Four Seasons Barbados

IDB's involvement in the Resort will also create significant development impact through (i) creation of 1,250 jobs during construction and 350 jobs during operations; (ii) development of a highly sustainable resort in line with Four Seasons standards and GoB criteria and objectives (iii) meaningful financial additionality as the long-term financing necessary for the successful resumption and completion of the Project is not available from local commercial banks as they typically provide shorter tenors; and, (iv) enhancement of Barbados's reputation as a luxury tourism destination.
