THE LOAN SEEKS TO SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT'S PROGRAM OF POLICIES AND STRUCTURAL REFORMS OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES IN THE ELECTRICAL SUBSECTOR, AS FOLLOWS:(A) STREAMLINE THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THESE ENTERPRISES TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE SECTOR; (B) MODIFY THE TARIFF STRUCTURE AND DISTRIBUTION OF REVENUES FROM THE SALE OF ELECTRICITY; AND (C) MODIFY FORMS OF OWNERSHIP TO FACILITATE PRIVATE SECTOR PARTICIPATION.
