Analysis of health expenditure at the provincial level

This Technical Cooperation aims to contribute to improving the efficiency of public health spending in Argentina, with a particular focus on the subnational level. Specifically, it seeks to strengthen the National Government's capacity to comparatively assess the performance of provincial jurisdictions, guide technical dialogue with provinces, and support the formulation of national policies and guidelines that promote a more effective allocation and use of public health resources. At the same time, it seeks to strengthen the provinces' capacity to guide policy, budgeting, and management decisions toward a more efficient use of these resources, thereby contributing to the financial sustainability of the health system and enhancing its ability to translate spending into better health services and improved health outcomes.
