Support for Improving Intergovernmental Fiscal Coordination

The general objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to contribute to improving subnational fiscal sustainability in Argentina, in line with the objectives of operation AR-L1424. The specific objectives are: (i) to enhance efficiency in the management of provincial public expenditure and financing, and (ii) to improve the effectiveness of the collection of provincial own-source revenues. As qualitative results, the TC is expected to provide clear technical inputs tailored to the national and provincial levels (diagnostics, reform proposals, and management tools) that strengthen fiscal coordination and support the successful implementation of program AR-L1424.
