The general objective of the Technical Cooperation is to support the formulation of operations aimed at improving the quality of provincial road infrastructure and road management, incorporating resilience and sustainability criteria. The specific objectives are: (i) to help reduce technical, economic, and socio‑environmental information gaps through the development of targeted studies; (ii) to help strengthen provincial capacities for the efficient management of road assets through prefeasibility studies for the implementation of road asset management systems, including load control and a review of funding and financing schemes; and (iii) to help develop instruments and capacities for the formulation and execution of a resilient road system.
