Support for the preparation and execution of transport Initiatives to improve Provincial Competitiveness
The general objective of the TC is to support the formulation of operations aimed at improving the quality of provincial road infrastructure and management, incorporating resilience and sustainability criteria. The specific objectives are: (i) to help reduce gaps in technical, economic, and socio-environmental information through the preparation of targeted studies; (ii) to help strengthen provincial capacities for the efficient management of road assets through prefeasibility studies for the implementation of road asset management systems, including load control and a review of funding and financing schemes; and (iii) to help develop instruments and capacities for the formulation and implementation of a resilient road network system.
