Inclu-Tec: Inclusive Employment in Knowledge-based Businesses
This project seeks to strengthen the employability of two main groups: vulnerable youth and women, who today do not believe employment opportunities exist form them in the knowledge economy. The project will be executed in four areas of Argentina, including Buenos Aires, Greater Buenos Aires, and two other zones of technological development in the interior of the country (to be determined). Zones with IT businesses will be prioritized. This model will work with the private sector to increase job employment opportunities for socioeconomically vulnerable youth and women. Innovative methods for strengthening the competencies demanded by the labor market (English and life skills) will be utilized, complemented by public training. Youth will be accompanied during the life of training by mentors from businesses from the corresponding sector. The proposed model will also include career counseling and job placement.
