Development of a Forest Waste-to-Energy Model to Cover the Basic Needs of the Vulnerable Population in the Municipio of San Carlos de Bariloche
The project proposes to operate an innovative system of waste-to-energy which it could develop "briquettes" from pruning residues and other organic wastes.
A semi-industrial briquette production system will be developed from an extrusion process. There will be five centers installed of briquettes, in the Municipal ejido of Bariloche, which will be operated by SMEs and pre-existing cooperatives.
The briquettes produced in the processing plant will supply all the demand for the combustion material of the "Plan Calor" that the Bariloche Goverment executes, through a purchase agreement (off-take agreement).
