Provincial Fiscal Management Strengthening Program

The overall objective of the CCLIP and the first operation is to improve subnational fiscal sustainability in line with the parameters of the federal fiscal adjustment conducted in Argentina at the national level. The specific objectives are: (i) to increase the effectiveness of own-source revenue collection and rebalance the tax burden toward more efficient and less distortionary taxes, (ii) to increase expenditure efficiency, and (iii) to improve financial solvency.
