Provincial Fiscal Coordination Improvement Program

The objective of the CCLIP is to contribute to subnational fiscal sustainability through greater efficiency in public spending and financing, as well as improvements in the management of own-source revenue collection. The overall development objective of the first operation is to improve provincial fiscal sustainability in Argentina. The specific development objectives for both the CCLIP and the first operation are: (i) to improve spending efficiency; and (ii) to strengthen the management of own-source revenue collection. Achieving these objectives will help create greater fiscal space and facilitate the reallocation of current expenditures toward capital expenditures, thereby supporting investment and job creation.
